About the Role
• Meet with project clients to evaluate, define, and review customer needs/objectives and ensure those requirements are met in the design. • Develop complete construction documents (SD, DD, CD) that convey design intent, specifications, and support system‑related activities during construction administration. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop functional requirements, system designs, and other project‑related specifications. • Create alternative system design concepts, perform feasibility and trade‑off studies, and deliver value‑added engineering as needed. • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry product offerings and research emerging technologies. • Provide construction administration services, including reviewing submittals and responding to contractor inquiries. • Assist in problem resolution and technical troubleshooting when field support is required.

What You Bring
• Possess strong engineering knowledge of telecommunication (horizontal/backbone cabling and pathways) or electronic security systems (communications, electronic controls, CCTV, access control, UPS) and coordinate with commercial hardware. • Hold an associate or technical school degree, or equivalent education and experience; Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering is preferred. • Bring 2–10 years of relevant work experience. • Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks independently, and stay within schedule and budget. • Exhibit strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills. • Work effectively in a high‑velocity environment while maintaining attention to detail and workmanship quality. • Proficient in Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, and quickly learn new applications. • Understand engineering drawing and design standards and practices. • Be eligible for a government security investigation and access to classified information.
