CDL Truck Driver - Residential

About the Role
The driver safely operates a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes, following WM safety and DOT regulations. Responsibilities include loading, transporting, and accurately documenting each load while maintaining clean customer sites. • Operate the vehicle in compliance with WM Safety and Life Critical Rules, OSHA, DOT and all applicable laws. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete DVIR checks. • Immediately report unsafe conditions, service issues, incidents, accidents or property damage to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Attend all required training programs, briefings and meetings. • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to improve route efficiency and share best practices. • Notify Dispatch of service interruptions such as closed streets, heavy receptacles or safety hazards. • Communicate customer requests to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Fully dump receptacles and leave the site clean and free of debris. • Follow assigned routes, complete end‑of‑day documentation and check‑out procedures. • Assist other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.
