About the Role
Position summary: Lead, inspire and drive excellence as a Production Leader at the state‑of‑the‑art Rolls‑Royce Hydromech facility. You will take charge of a dynamic team within a defined manufacturing cell, optimise production performance and help achieve Zero Harm and Zero Defects while delivering world‑class products to customers. In this role you will lead a culture of Zero Harm, ensuring safety, environmental and wellbeing standards are met. You will drive quality and efficiency toward Zero Defects and ensure compliance with engineering and safety standards. You will manage team performance and budgets, optimising productivity, headcount and cost efficiency, and ensure on‑time delivery through capacity planning and workflow management. Additionally, you will develop and empower the team, fostering continuous improvement, lean leadership and digital manufacturing adoption. • Lead a Zero Harm culture, ensuring safety, environmental and wellbeing standards. • Drive quality and efficiency to achieve Zero Defects and maintain engineering compliance. • Manage team performance and budgets, optimizing productivity, headcount and cost efficiency. • Ensure on‑time delivery via capacity planning and workflow management. • Develop and empower the team, promoting continuous improvement, lean leadership and digital manufacturing.

What You Bring
Position requirements include a safety‑first mindset with solid knowledge of health and safety standards and product integrity. You should have broad, cross‑disciplinary experience and be comfortable handling diverse challenges, cultures and ways of working. A proven track record of improving operational performance and leading cross‑functional teams is essential, as is continuous improvement expertise, ideally with Lean/Six Sigma experience (Green Belt preferred). • Safety‑first mindset with knowledge of health and safety standards and product integrity. • Broad cross‑disciplinary experience and ability to work with diverse challenges and cultures. • Proven track record of improving operational performance and leading cross‑functional teams. • Continuous improvement expertise, preferably Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt.
