About the Role
The Accountant I is an entry‑level accounting position responsible for maintaining a variety of financial records, including assets, liabilities, tax liabilities, profit and loss, and other financial activities. The role includes preparing and analyzing financial reports, generating and interpreting financial records for management, and maintaining the general ledger. The accountant will be trusted with the company’s financial data and must ensure the accuracy of all records. Key duties include maintaining records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and tax liabilities; maintaining the general ledger as needed; analyzing financial data to prepare reports; generating and interpreting financial statements for management; and performing other assigned tasks. • Maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit & loss, and tax liabilities. • Keep the general ledger up to date. • Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports. • Generate and interpret management financial statements. • Perform additional accounting tasks as assigned. • Apply US GAAP principles and accounting best practices. • Prioritize and manage time-critical accounting duties.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of general ledger accounting, experience in an Accounting Shared Services Center environment, and a solid understanding of US GAAP. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and conflict‑resolution techniques is required, along with strong professional communication skills.
