About the Role
The superintendent will coordinate, plan, and supervise MEP scopes of work, ensuring that materials, equipment, and inspections align with the project schedule. They will review construction and contract documents for completeness and constructability, resolve design discrepancies, and develop site logistics and look‑ahead schedules while collaborating with partner superintendents and managing Mortenson tools and equipment. • Coordinate, plan, and supervise MEP scopes of work • Develop and enhance customer relationships through excellent service • Ensure materials, equipment, and inspections support the project schedule • Review construction documents for completeness and constructability • Review and understand contract documents • Coordinate plans and specifications with design engineers, resolving discrepancies • Develop and manage three- and six-week look‑ahead schedules • Create a site logistics plan • Manage utilization of Mortenson tools and equipment • Collaborate with project partner superintendents

What You Bring
Mortenson is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent (Water Treatment) to oversee field coordination, analysis, and resolution of issues with project team members. The role demands excellent communication skills, flexibility, ingenuity, and a high level of integrity and confidentiality while interacting with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment. Candidates should hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or a related field, or possess ten years of trade experience, and have at least eight years of construction experience with two years in a supervisory role. Preferred experience includes water‑treatment plant projects, strong detail orientation, basic knowledge of construction law, intermediate Microsoft Office skills, and a professional, customer‑focused attitude. Mortenson does not accept unsolicited agency communications without a valid agreement and requires all applicants to be currently authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Associate or bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or related field, or 10 years trade experience • Minimum 8 years construction experience with at least 2 years supervisory experience • Preferred water‑treatment plant experience • Ability to manage multiple, complex data center projects • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills • Basic understanding of construction law and business practices • Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency • Positive, professional attitude with strong customer service skills • Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies • Active listening and effective communication, open to diverse input • Knowledge of EEOC, inclusive behaviors, and affirmative action plans • Current driver’s license • Visa sponsorship not offered; must be authorized to work in the U.S.
