About the Role
The role involves field activities for utility‑scale solar projects, supporting engineering staff as needed. The employee will also assist with observation of construction activities and contribute to other engineering tasks. • Perform pile load testing and gather data for solar pile foundations. • Conduct site reconnaissance, geotechnical drilling, and soil/rock logging. • Observe and document geotechnical construction activities; carry out construction testing/inspection. • Carry out additional engineering tasks as directed by the engineering staff.

What You Bring
• Hold a high school diploma; experience with utility‑scale solar pile load testing is preferred. • Prior experience in outdoor field work, geotechnical drilling, and testing of soil or concrete is advantageous. • Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean record and be prepared for extensive travel (approximately 95‑100% of the time). • Able to lift up to 100 lb and work in diverse site conditions across the United States. • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications. • Strong oral and written communication skills; capable of leading or contributing within project teams.
