About the Role

The Sr. Capture Manager is a senior leadership position within the Water Global Business line, reporting to the Strategy and Growth lead. The role drives strategic growth and secures enterprise‑level pursuits by shaping winning strategies, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring operational excellence throughout the pursuit lifecycle. Remote or virtual work is available, with travel as required. • Lead consultative sales processes to win major enterprise‑level pursuits. • Analyze competitive landscapes and apply win/loss insights to refine pursuit strategies. • Foster multidisciplinary collaboration across regions to deliver client‑focused outcomes. • Align technical, marketing, and bidding teams to ensure proposal best practices. • Oversee the full sales lifecycle with rigorous Go/No‑Go and quality assurance. • Coordinate strategic marketing campaigns that support key opportunities. • Ensure contracts comply with commercial, financial, legal, and governance standards. • Drive accountability for sales metrics and high capture rates. • Align AECOM initiatives with client priorities on sustainability and resilience. • Build and maintain a diversified pipeline of qualified opportunities. • Establish trust with client decision‑makers and internal stakeholders, including CAMs and executive leadership. • Leverage strong market and technical knowledge to influence pursuit success. • Communicate pursuit priorities clearly to executive and regional leadership. • Partner with technical, bidding and marketing staff to create compelling, compliant content. • Cultivate client relationships through collaboration with CAMs and business line representatives. • Drive growth by capturing new business and renewing existing accounts. • Champion ethical, safe practices and reinforce AECOM’s reputation. • Position innovative solutions aligned with client innovation agendas. • Set schedules, milestones, and budgets for bid development and delivery. • Apply commercial expertise to contracts (pricing, legal risk, governance). • Mentor and develop capture team members, fostering inclusive, high‑performing teams.

What You Bring
