About the Role
As a Substation Electrician you will help maintain reliability and safety of our high‑voltage network by installing, maintaining, fault‑finding and commissioning substation assets. You will respond to system incidents, perform high‑voltage switching and support maintenance and construction activities as part of a safety‑focused, collaborative team. You will work across the full lifecycle of substation operations, maintaining assets, building technical capability, performing high‑voltage switching and supporting emergency response. You will champion safe work practices, prepare safety documentation, lead crews when needed, accurately record work in our systems, and help develop apprentices and junior technicians.

What You Bring
Comprehensive training is provided. No substation experience is required; our structured program equips you with high‑voltage switching skills, high‑risk work licences, and expertise in equipment maintenance, diagnostics, installation and commissioning. We are looking for candidates with a Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent, familiar with the Wiring Rules and Australian Standards, flexible for on‑call and after‑hours work, and holding a current Australian driver’s licence.
