Supplier Quality Manager

About the Role

You will lead the supplier quality function, collaborate with sourcing, engineering, and operations teams, and serve as the primary point of contact for the supply base, overseeing overall quality performance. • Develop and execute supplier quality strategies aligned with AI‑driven rapid growth • Lead and mentor the Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) team at the Anoka site • Partner with sourcing, engineering, and operations to ensure supplier quality supports business needs • Serve as primary liaison with the supply base to resolve quality issues and manage corrective actions • Own and improve APQP and PPAP processes; establish and monitor supplier KPIs for quality, delivery, and cost • Conduct supplier audits, assessments, and risk evaluations to ensure ISO 9001 compliance • Drive root‑cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (8D, DMAIC) for supplier‑related problems • Collaborate with suppliers on development initiatives to implement best practices and foster continuous improvement • Support customer and supplier onsite visits and audit participation

What You Bring

The role requires a solid engineering or quality‑management education and extensive experience in supplier quality and leadership. Candidates should hold relevant certifications and demonstrate expertise in quality standards, problem‑solving, negotiation, and communication. • Travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (Master’s preferred) • 8+ years in supplier quality, quality engineering, or manufacturing quality roles • 3+ years in a leadership or managerial capacity • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Manager (CQM); Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt preferred • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, SPC, Process Capability Studies, FMEA, Control Plans, and GD&T • Excellent problem‑solving (RCCA, 8D, 3‑Why), negotiation, and communication skills
