About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck, providing prompt and courteous waste removal services while ensuring the vehicle meets all Company safety standards and complies with state and federal regulations. Daily vehicle condition reports are completed to address any defects promptly. Key duties include comprehensive pre- and post‑operation inspections, following route sheets and maps, operating manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste, and maintaining clear communication with customers and dispatchers. The driver also identifies unsatisfactory containers, tags them per procedure, cleans accidental spills, monitors vehicle condition, and completes required productivity and reporting forms.
