About the Role
The organization is hiring a Regional Safety Specialist to oversee safety, training and quality programs at its operational renewable‑energy sites within a defined region. This role ensures consistent application of corporate safety policies and supports site teams in achieving high safety performance. The specialist acts as a bridge between field operations and corporate safety functions. • Promote safe work practices, conduct safety observations and drills, and standardize on‑the‑job training and PPE/tool usage. • Coordinate training programs and disseminate best practices across sites and regions. • Collaborate with Site Managers to identify safety improvements, support audits, ensure accurate LMS documentation, and strengthen site safety committees. • Lead incident investigations, perform root‑cause analyses, and drive lessons learned to maintain OSHA and internal compliance. • Conduct annual safety audits and assist with site‑specific programs such as LOTO, confined space entry, and emergency response. • Maintain comprehensive safety documentation and serve as liaison between sites and corporate teams after incidents. • Partner with HR on clinic partnerships and updates to emergency action plans.

What You Bring
The position is field‑based and requires travel to multiple sites, with up to 40 % time spent on the road and outdoor work as needed. The role is based at Green Pastures Wind Farm in Seymour, Texas, and involves coordination with site managers and regional stakeholders. Flexible scheduling accommodates the dynamic nature of renewable‑energy operations. • Proactive, collaborative safety professional with field experience and leadership capabilities. • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Minimum 2 years of safety or technician experience in the energy or industrial sector. • Familiarity with OSHA, ISO, ANSI, and other safety and quality standards. • Skilled in coaching teams, conducting audits, and implementing safety improvements. • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership abilities; comfortable traveling up to 40 % and working outdoors. • Experience with LMS platforms, Maximo, or audit tools is a plus; Spanish or French language skills are a bonus. • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain a U.S. passport.
