About the Role

The role involves project management of code compliance projects, including reviewing plans, providing technical support, conducting inspections, monitoring performance and budgetary conditions, preparing proposals, and attending project site meetings. The employee will also assist with resolving technical and administrative problems and mentor and train other building inspectors. Additional duties include assisting with profit and loss management, marketing services through client interactions, and participating in business development related to code inspections. • Manage code compliance projects, including plan review, technical support, inspections, and performance monitoring. • Prepare proposals and attend project site meetings. • Mentor and train building inspectors. • Assist with profit and loss management and marketing of inspection services. • Develop client relationships and support business development initiatives.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED and possess at least five years of experience in code compliance inspection of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems or in plan review. Valid ICC certifications B2, M2, P2, and E2 are required, and a valid driver’s license is necessary when driving for any ECS subsidiary. • Minimum high school diploma or GED required. • At least 5 years of code compliance inspection or plan review experience for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. • Hold valid ICC certifications B2, M2, P2, and E2. • Maintain a valid driver’s license for company vehicle use.
