About the Role
The Leasing Consultant will meet prospective residents, assess eligibility, showcase vacant and model suites, and communicate rental rates and promotions. They will manage internet leads, maintain social media engagement, and handle the full leasing process from screening to lease preparation and move-in coordination. The role also includes maintaining accurate records, supporting property management software, ensuring apartments are ready for occupancy, and conducting market research to stay competitive. Mentoring new leasing consultants and pursuing outreach to attract new residents are additional responsibilities. • Conduct resident interviews, determine eligibility, and show vacant/model units. • Quote rental rates, promote current offers, and follow up with prospects. • Manage internet leads and maintain active social media engagement. • Screen applicants, prepare correspondence, and process lease agreements. • Maintain lease records, waiting lists, and compliance with HUD/affordable housing regulations. • Use on-site property management software for accurate leasing data entry. • Inspect apartments, install move-in products, and distribute keys and paperwork. • Perform market research, visit competitor properties, and implement outreach campaigns. • Mentor newly hired leasing consultants.

What You Bring
Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, with a preferred associate degree in customer service or hospitality. Required experience includes 1-2 years of leasing or sales, knowledge of fair housing laws, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Yardi/CRM experience is a plus. • Required: High school diploma/GED; 1-2 years leasing or sales experience. • Preferred: Associate degree in customer service/hospitality and Yardi/CRM proficiency. • Valid driver’s license (property-dependent) and ability to work weekends.

Benefits
Compensation is $17.66-$24.72 hourly, with a full benefits package, paid time off, 401(k) match, referral bonuses, and discounted on-site rental rates.
