About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The incumbent ensures the vehicle meets the Company’s safety standards before operation, follows all Company, state, and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address defects promptly. Daily duties include thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections of tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls, reporting any safety issues. The driver follows route sheets and maps, operates manual or automatic controls in compliance with truck driving rules, lifts and loads refuse, operates the compactor, and disposes of material at the designated facility. Interactions with customers and colleagues are courteous, and unsatisfactory containers are identified and tagged per procedures. The driver may also handle hazardous and non‑hazardous materials, operate a hydrovac unit, and clean waste spills while maintaining productivity standards.

What You Bring
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills are required, along with the ability to stay focused in a busy environment, drive safely, use navigation tools, maintain basic logs, and follow instructions without constant supervision. Candidates must hold a Class A & B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with air‑brake endorsement, a DZ license or higher, and current 40‑hour HAZWOPER training (or be able to complete it upon hire). They should have 2–4 years of related driving experience or training.
