About the Role

You will move material throughout the distribution center using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, and conveyors, while receiving, logging, and stocking incoming inventory in the proper locations. Responsibilities include reading work orders, filling invoices, inspecting items for damage, tracking inventory in the system, and keeping the warehouse organized and clean. You will enforce safety procedures, coach associates on operational practices, and report any customer issues immediately. Additionally, you will evaluate current processes, suggest improvements to reduce cost per unit, and deliver supplies in compliance with DOT and OSHA standards. • Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and conveyors to move materials. • Receive, log, and stock incoming inventory in the warehouse system. • Verify part numbers, fill invoices, and pack items for shipment. • Inspect inventory for damage and report issues to the Warehouse Manager. • Follow all safety, DOT, and OSHA procedures while handling equipment. • Maintain accurate inventory records and organize warehouse space. • Coach teammates on operational and safety practices. • Evaluate processes and recommend efficiency improvements. • Deliver supplies promptly, complying with regulated standards. • Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lb and standing for long periods.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of warehouse experience, and a proven track record of completing work with high quality. Physical stamina is required to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lb regularly (occasionally up to 50 lb), and forklift certification is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to operate personal computers are also required. • Possess at least one year of warehouse experience and forklift certification (preferred). • Use Microsoft Word and Excel for data entry and reporting.
