About the Role

• Assist accountant to ensure client contractual requirements are met for billing and accounts receivable. • Process vendor invoices and maintain up-to-date accounts payable for assigned projects. • Process subcontractor invoices, verify lien waivers, and confirm contracts and insurance requirements. • Support monthly close by posting or accruing client bills and project costs. • Respond to internal and external audit requests. • Facilitate data entry for project vendor invoices and prepare multi-project invoices for central financial center. • Perform administrative tasks related to invoice processing, such as vendor setup, sales/use tax reporting, and handling client tax-exempt certificates. • Help prepare Turner owner applications for payment by compiling supporting invoice backup. • Provide supervisor with periodic progress reports. • Apply academic knowledge to company tasks and adhere to work hours, policies, and professional conduct. • Maintain professional relationships with employees and customers. • Participate in conferences and learning opportunities offered by the company.

What You Bring

Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited four-year college or university, preferably studying Accounting or Finance, and have at least one year of relevant coursework or equivalent experience. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills are required, along with proficiency in data entry, databases, MS Office, and intermediate to advanced Excel. The position involves physical activity such as climbing stairs, ladders, and navigating construction sites, as well as exposure to typical construction site conditions including noise, weather, and potential hazards. Benefits

Compensation is estimated at $27.00-$31.00 per hour, annualized. The intern will work standard business hours and must adhere to company policies, procedures, and professional conduct standards.
