About the Role

• Partner with studio leadership to develop talent strategies aligned with business objectives • Manage employee relations issues and investigations • Assess talent gaps and ensure appropriate internal/external placements • Facilitate global mobility, including transfers, relocations, and visa processing • Support the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, engagement, development, exit, and retirement • Manage Gensler special recognition programs • Advise on compensation and reward programs • Analyze talent data and metrics to inform decisions • Develop performance management tools and succession planning • Implement talent development and training programs with the Talent Development Manager • Collaborate with HR team to innovate practices and programs • Work with shared services to deliver best‑in‑class people solutions

What You Bring

The Chicago office is seeking a highly experienced Regional HR Business Partner who will report to the Regional HR Director and support staff and leadership across Chicago, Minneapolis, Detroit, Columbus, and La Crosse. This role will design, lead, and promote strategic HR initiatives for more than 300 employees, covering all aspects of talent management in a client-focused setting. The position is in‑person within our flexible culture and includes up to 25% regional travel. • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required • 10+ years HR experience, including 5+ years in a managerial role • Strong team management and employee relations expertise • Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law • Experience in a professional services environment • Excellent communication, organizational, and detail‑orientation skills • Advanced MS Office proficiency; Excel/PowerPoint; InDesign a plus • Experience with Workday preferred • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, matrix environment • Up to 25% travel within the region • PHR/SPHR certification or equivalent preferred

Compensation includes a base salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience, plus standard bonuses.
