About the Role

• Lead structural engineering on diverse building projects, from small to large scale. • Provide technical input and conduct structural design studies. • Mentor junior staff on design, constructability, and methodology. • Present complex technical solutions directly to clients. • Perform site visits to monitor construction progress. • Conduct quality control reviews and sign off on deliverables. • Develop technical proposals, including budget and schedule estimates. • Review permitting agency and client design standards for compliance. • Manage independent workload under department supervision.

What You Bring

The position reports to the Department Manager/Project Manager yet requires independent organization of workload and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. A focus on quality, client communication, and technical leadership is essential. Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering, at least six years of relevant experience, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Structural Engineering, with U.S. citizenship required. Preferred qualifications are recent experience on building and facilities projects, proficiency with ETABS, SAFE, SAP, RAM Elements, RISA, AutoCAD, and Revit, and up to ten years of experience on large, complex projects. • Hold a BS in Structural Engineering with at least 6 years experience. • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Structural Engineering; U.S. citizenship required. • Experienced with Buildings and Facilities design projects and structural software (ETABS, SAFE, SAP, RAM Elements, RISA; AutoCAD/Revit desirable). • Preferred up to 10 years experience on large, complex projects. • Ability to work hybrid model, two days per week in Atlanta office.
