Oversee bridge CAD design, QC, and staff while developing standards and 3D models.

About the Role
• Produce CAD drawings for new or reconstructed bridges, culverts, and highway structures. • Prepare quantity take‑offs from CAD and surface model files. • Detail reinforcing bars for reinforced concrete structures. • Apply and integrate client CAD standards into templates. • Develop 3D CAD models for substructures, grading, and alignments/profiles. • Assist engineering and project management with CAD design methodology and practices. • Perform drawing QA/QC on work from other CADD staff. • Coordinate with clients and industry to stay current on CAD trends and emerging technologies. • Supervise junior staff and assess their training needs. • Assist with CAD workload planning.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold an associate’s degree or technical certification, have at least ten years of CADD bridge/structure design experience, and be proficient with major CAD platforms such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D. • Associate’s degree or technical certification, preferably in Engineering Technology. • Minimum 10 + years of CADD bridge/structure design experience. • Proficiency in MicroStation, OpenRoads, AutoCAD or Civil 3D. • Knowledge of 3D CAD, point clouds, and digital delivery (a plus). • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in team settings. • Ability to work with remote colleagues across offices. • Proficient English reading, writing, and communication skills.
