About the Role
The Engineering Designer / Field Support professional will conduct site visits for EV charging and other infrastructure projects, gather detailed field data, and update electrical designs using CAD software. This hands‑on role works closely with engineers and construction teams, ensuring designs reflect real‑world conditions while maintaining organized documentation. • Conduct site visits to support EV charging and other infrastructure projects. • Gather field data, including measurements, photos, notes, and existing site conditions. • Communicate field findings clearly to the internal engineering team. • Support electrical design updates and redlines of construction documents. • Prepare construction‑ready drawings using CAD software. • Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs reflect real‑world conditions. • Coordinate ongoing efforts between field, engineering, and construction teams. • Maintain organized documentation from site visits and design updates.

What You Bring
• Background in electrical design, plan preparation, and construction support. • Proficient with AutoCAD or similar CAD software packages. • Comfortable conducting site visits and working independently in the field. • Strong communication and documentation skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and project teams. • Willingness to travel as needed for site visits. • Experience supporting EV charging or electrical infrastructure projects. • Construction or design‑build project experience. • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field. • Experience working with jurisdictional authorities, construction teams, and public utilities.
