About the Role

Typical daily activities include servicing, installing and repairing customer equipment, performing warranty work and start‑up services, and commissioning equipment across Schneider’s product portfolio. Technicians test, calibrate, adjust and replace components, construct and test circuits using computers, workstations, circuit diagrams and test instruments, and provide technical support, product training and on‑site audits. Occasionally, the role involves analyzing complex equipment problems, interpreting maintenance manuals, developing design modifications, delivering training courseware to customers and peers, and traveling for training or to support job sites in other areas. • Service, install, and repair customer equipment. • Perform warranty work and start‑up/commissioning tasks. • Test, calibrate, adjust, and replace components using diagnostic tools. • Construct and test circuits and equipment with computers and test instruments. • Provide technical support, product training, and conduct on‑site audits. • Document site activities and generate technical reports. • Analyze complex equipment issues and develop design modifications. • Deliver training courseware to customers and fellow representatives. • Travel as needed for training and job‑site support.

What You Bring

Candidates should have vocational education, military training or equivalent experience in electronics or electrical theory, and 5‑7+ years of mechanical, electrical or power‑distribution service experience. They must be proficient in writing reports, presenting information, performing calculations, defining problems, collecting data, and interpreting blueprints and service documents. Ability to move equipment up to 50 lb is required. • Vocational, military or equivalent education in electronics/electrical theory. • 5‑7+ years of mechanical, electrical or power‑distribution service experience. • Strong report‑writing and presentation skills to managers, clients and customers. • Proficiency in calculations (percentages, area, volume, etc.) and problem‑solving. • Ability to interpret blueprints, electrical drawings and service documents. • Experience with low/medium voltage switchgear, transformers, relay protection and control systems. • Physical ability to lift/move equipment up to 50 lb.
