About the Role
The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager by handling daily operations, financial functions, leasing, maintenance, staff supervision and compliance with safety and fair‑housing regulations. • Process and reconcile daily rent payments, post charges, and manage month‑end closing and reporting. • Monitor delinquent accounts, issue notices, and coordinate evictions to protect cash flow. • Supervise onsite staff, conduct hiring, training, coaching and ensure policy compliance. • Oversee leasing activities, implement marketing plans, and drive resident retention programs. • Respond to resident complaints, manage service requests and ensure timely property maintenance. • Conduct property inspections, manage vendor relationships and control operational expenses. • Maintain accurate resident records and audit files for compliance. • Meet physical demands of standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lb, and working evenings or weekends as needed.

What You Bring
• Required: High school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and 1‑2 years housing industry experience; knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA.
