About the Role
The engineer will handle pre‑contract activities such as quantity take‑offs from AutoCAD or PDF drawings, support rate analysis and GCC/SCC review, assist in vendor qualification and bid preparation, and contribute to negotiation strategies. Post‑contract duties include reviewing contractor and sub‑contractor bills, managing change orders, preparing cash‑flow statements, collecting market quotes, performing rate analysis for extra items, ensuring contractual compliance, validating site measurements, reporting variations, and compiling MIS data for the PMO. Additionally, the role requires maintaining documentation on SharePoint and providing cost‑tracking inputs for monthly project reports. • Perform quantity take‑offs from AutoCAD or PDF drawings • Support rate analysis and GCC/SCC review • Identify and evaluate vendors for pre‑bid qualification • Assist in pre‑bid meetings, bid comparison, and negotiation preparation • Verify contractor and sub‑contractor invoices • Manage change orders and prepare cash‑flow statements • Collect market quotes and finalize rates for extra items • Conduct rate analysis for variations and claim settlements • Ensure contractual compliance and validate site measurements • Compile project cost reports and MIS data for the PMO • Store all project records on SharePoint with team access • Provide cost‑tracking inputs for monthly project reports

What You Bring
We are seeking a well‑organized Mechanical/Electrical Engineer with strong technical and communication skills to join our project management team. The role focuses on MEP/construction domain work in residential and commercial projects such as high‑rise buildings, IT parks, business parks, and healthcare facilities. The candidate must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. The ideal candidate has 4‑6 years of experience in a similar MEP/Construction environment, with knowledge of design development stages (concept, schematic, tender, GFC), technical specifications, and bill of materials. Proficiency in quantity estimation, rate analysis, BOQ preparation, and familiarity with all electrical and mechanical packages is required. Working knowledge of AutoCAD Viewer or E‑PLAN, MS Office, and project‑management best practices is essential, together with strong conflict‑resolution, problem‑solving, and communication skills. A diploma, BE or BTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required. Candidates should have experience in real‑estate, commercial buildings, or healthcare sectors. • 4–6 years of MEP/construction experience in residential/commercial projects • Knowledge of design development stages and technical specifications • Expertise in quantity estimation, rate analysis, BOQ preparation • Proficiency with AutoCAD Viewer or E‑PLAN and MS Office • Strong conflict‑resolution, problem‑solving, and communication skills • Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
