About the Role

The Lead Technician – Security is a key role reporting directly to the Field Line Manager and based in Abu Dhabi. The Aftermarket CFS team delivers service, maintenance and retrofit projects on Controls and Security Management Systems (SMS) for comfort and energy efficiency across commercial, retail and hospitality sectors. As Lead Technician you will support commissioning, replace controllers, verify on‑site systems, carry out PPM activities, test and commission additional doors and cameras, produce service reports, and manage a team of technicians and subcontractors on a roster‑based 24/7 duty shift. You will apply knowledge of the latest security products and electronics/networking to program controllers, install and commission various Access Control and CCTV platforms, speed gates, and car‑park barriers, and set up and test third‑party software integrations. The role also includes delivering system operation training, creating handover documentation, and maintaining a high standard of safety throughout all activities. • Lead and coordinate a team of technicians and subcontractors on a 24/7 roster shift. • Commission, replace, and verify controllers and security management systems on site. • Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and test/commission additional doors and cameras. • Generate detailed service reports and handover documents for customers. • Program controllers and install/commission Access Control, CCTV, speed gates, and car‑park barriers. • Integrate third‑party software and conduct system operation training. • Uphold high safety standards and adhere to company safety policies. • Organize technical resources, coordinate with vendors, and resolve complex system issues. • Produce incident reports and root‑cause analysis documentation.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or an equivalent qualification and has at least 10 years of experience in programming, installing, commissioning and servicing CCTV platforms (e.g., Pelco Endura, VideoXpert, Milestone, ExacqVision, Victor VMS) and Access Control systems (e.g., P2K, C•CURE, Salto) as well as Visitor Management Systems. Strong technical expertise with Intercom, Master Clock, PA systems, structured cabling, high‑level integrations such as lifts, barriers and ANPR, and hands‑on experience with AutoCAD and ADMCC regulations is required. Candidates must be able to organize technical resources, coordinate with vendors, troubleshoot complex issues, produce incident reports and root‑cause analyses, communicate fluently in English, and hold a valid UAE driving licence. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent. • Possess a minimum of 10 years’ experience with CCTV and Access Control platforms (e.g., Pelco Endura, Milestone, P2K, C•CURE). • Demonstrate expertise in Intercom, Master Clock, PA, structured cabling, lifts, barriers and ANPR integrations. • Proficient in English (spoken and written) and experienced with AutoCAD. • Knowledge of ADMCC regulations and ability to interpret related drawings. • Valid UAE driving licence.
