About the Role
The Receiving Associate offloads incoming freight using pallet jacks, hand trucks or forklifts, conducts visual inspections for damage, and verifies items against packing slips and purchase orders. Inventory is systematically entered into the ERP system, labeled, and placed in designated warehouse or production locations, with consolidation of shelved inventory when needed. The role also processes job orders for back shops, collaborates with purchasing, finance and quality departments, tracks and expedites the receiving hot list, and maintains scanned documentation in shared folders. Additional responsibilities include assisting with order picking and ensuring docks, staging areas and the receiving station remain clean, safe, and orderly. • Offload freight using pallet jack, hand truck, or forklift. • Perform visual inspections of incoming packages for damage. • Verify receipts against packing slips and purchase orders. • Enter inventory into ERP system and label packages accurately. • Store received inventory in designated warehouse or production areas. • Consolidate shelved inventory to maximize rack space. • Process job orders for back‑shop operations. • Collaborate with purchasing, finance, and quality teams. • Track, expedite, and update the receiving hot list. • Scan and archive all receiving documents to shared folders. • Assist with order picking as needed. • Maintain clean, safe, and orderly receiving stations and dock areas. • Accurately count parts and record data promptly. • Prioritize tasks under tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

What You Bring
Candidates must possess basic computer proficiency and quickly learn Syteline ERP and BarTender RFID software. Accurate counting, data recording, and effective verbal and written communication are essential, as is a strong customer‑service focus. Applicants should be able to work under tight deadlines, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment while embracing new responsibilities and skill development. A high school diploma and at least two years of experience in a warehouse setting—shipping, receiving, or related functions—are required. Physical demands include walking, standing, bending, lifting 15‑45 lb, operating forklifts or battery‑powered vehicles, and repetitive hand use.
