About the Role
Cleaners maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety throughout the store. Duties include operating cleaning machinery, mopping, vacuuming, wiping, sweeping, cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, oven canopies, and keeping trolley bays free of leaves and debris. • Operate cleaning machinery and perform mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping • Clean toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies • Maintain trolley bays by removing leaves and debris • Apply all health and safety procedures

Arcus is recruiting a part‑time In‑Store Cleaner for the Sainsbury’s Pepper Hill store on a fixed‑term contract until March 2026, offering 21 hours per week at an hourly rate of £12.21. Immediate start is available. Sainsbury’s stores operate seven days a week and Arcus provides flexible shift patterns, with five‑ or six‑day week options. The current schedule is early‑morning shifts from Sunday to Thursday, with Friday and Saturday off, and overtime opportunities are available. All health and safety procedures must be followed, and Arcus supplies full training to support staff in their role.
