About the Role

As a Field Project Manager in the Fire division, you will lead complex fire alarm, security, and communications installations across commercial, educational, healthcare, industrial, and military facilities. You will establish local project offices, define scope, identify risks, allocate resources, and manage project methodology. Managing schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer satisfaction will be central to the role. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle—from design and permitting through material delivery, labor scheduling, and field installation—while conducting Work‑in‑Progress meetings and ensuring compliance with codes, standards, and AHJ requirements. Change orders will be coordinated to improve margins, and regular updates will be presented to management and customers. All actions will align with departmental and SOX procedures. • Lead fire alarm, security, and communications installation projects across diverse facility types • Establish local project offices, define scope, identify risks, and allocate resources • Manage schedule, cost, safety, quality, and customer expectations • Present project updates to management and customers • Ensure projects close on time and within scope • Conduct Work‑in‑Progress meetings and coordinate change orders to improve margins • Maintain compliance with codes, standards, AHJ requirements, and SOX procedures

What You Bring

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with a certificate or diploma in fire & life safety, electrical, or security preferred, and at least five years of installation experience in related systems. Candidates must obtain PMP certification within two years and NICET Level II within one year, and be proficient in MS Office, especially Excel macros.
