About the Role
Mortenson seeks a Surveyor to perform construction measurements, mapping, and layout support throughout all project stages. The role involves direct surveying, note‑taking, and verifying existing conditions and structure locations, while assisting team members as needed. • Set up and operate Trimble GPS equipment (base station, SCS 900, GCS 900, laser level). • Maintain, clean, and use surveying tools and equipment. • Perform basic surveying calculations and read plans. • Take detailed survey notes. • Survey existing site conditions of proposed work areas. • Guide new construction through layout and verify structure locations. • Build and maintain relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
