About the Role

In this role, the incumbent collaborates with the ANZ People & Culture Director to shape regional talent strategies and oversee talent processes across the region, ensuring alignment with global standards and supporting succession and capability development. The position acts as a central communication hub between ANZ and global talent teams, partners with Learning & Development to govern AECOM University programs, coaches senior talent, and advances diversity, equity and inclusion while monitoring employee engagement. • Design and implement regional talent management strategies (build, buy, borrow, bot) in line with global frameworks. • Lead talent review cycles, succession planning for critical roles, and development processes across ANZ. • Analyse internal and external talent data to guide retention, capability building, and workforce planning. • Partner with business leaders to forecast talent needs and create actionable hiring and development plans. • Maintain governance of talent review data and capture actionable insights for leadership. • Serve as primary liaison between ANZ and global talent teams to ensure alignment of priorities. • Oversee AECOM University learning governance, including training procedures, external requests, and learning hour tracking. • Coach senior talent and embed talent principles across managers and leaders. • Drive initiatives to identify, develop, and retain high‑potential employees and future leaders. • Manage talent assessments, coaching setups, and consistent evaluation processes. • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within talent management and organizational strategies. • Conduct pulse surveys, analyse results, and support action planning to improve employee experience and retention. • Support performance and promotions reporting, including goal setting, self‑evaluations, and manager evaluations. • Design and manage the ANZ promotions workflow, communications, and celebration events. • Lead scheduling and delivery of virtual instructor‑led trainings, mentoring, and in‑person events for graduates and interns. • Maintain and update onboarding materials to ensure a consistent experience at scale. • Lead the Discover AECOM program, handling governance, feedback analysis, and recommendations to P&C leadership. • Stay updated on market trends in talent management to adapt strategies and maintain competitive edge.

What You Bring

• Hold a tertiary qualification in business or a related field and 7+ years of relevant experience. • Demonstrate expertise in talent strategy design, succession planning, leadership development, and workforce planning. • Proven ability to monitor and enhance employee engagement, including pulse survey management and action planning. • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis, insight synthesis, and executive‑ready storytelling. • Strong commercial acumen to align talent initiatives with business outcomes and drive measurable value. • Skilled in project management, cross‑functional collaboration, and continuous progress monitoring.
