HVAC Account Manager

About the Role

The Account Manager will generate and nurture maintenance, service, and retrofit opportunities, maintain relationships with existing accounts, and act as a primary point of contact for clients. Responsibilities include preparing itineraries, contacting leads, gathering building and budget information, assembling technical data, assisting with bid proposals, and delivering sales presentations to qualify the firm for contracts. The role also involves helping collect overdue payments and addressing customer complaints within authorized limits. • Generate and qualify maintenance, service, and retrofit prospects • Maintain relationships with existing accounts via periodic follow‑ups • Prepare itineraries, contact leads, and follow up sales opportunities in the territory • Collect building, budget, and competition data from owners, developers, and maintenance personnel • Organize technical data and assist in bid proposal preparation • Deliver sales presentations to secure contract inclusion or exclusive agreements • Assist in collecting delinquent accounts and resolving customer complaints • Perform physical duties such as driving, climbing ladders, and moving throughout facilities safely
