About the Role

The Plant Maintenance Supervisor will plan, direct, and control the Maintenance Department to keep plant equipment and facilities aligned with good engineering practices. This role is based at a state-of-the-art recycling facility and operates on the 3rd shift, with initial training on the first shift before transitioning to a 9:00 pm start on Sunday‑Thursday or Tuesday‑Saturday. • Manage the preventive maintenance program and overall equipment upkeep. • Develop and oversee a qualified maintenance organization to ensure safe, efficient operation of all equipment. • Schedule repairs to minimize downtime and maintain satisfactory operating conditions. • Collaborate with other departments on equipment modifications, replacements, and cost‑saving improvements. • Coordinate facility operations with project engineers and oversee plant transportation equipment maintenance. • Conduct cost‑analysis studies and recommend actions to reduce operating expenses. • Set performance objectives and standards for maintenance projects aligned with corporate goals. • Maintain adequate inventory and control of spare parts and maintenance supplies. • Provide leadership and training to MRF Maintenance Technicians. • Ensure preventive inspections and corrective repairs meet or exceed company standards.
