About the Role

The temporary Utility Technician position in Texas reports to the Field Supervisor and supports day‑to‑day repair, upgrade, and maintenance of water distribution and wastewater collection systems, as well as handling customer service matters and facility housekeeping. • Install, maintain, and repair valves, meters, gauges, pumps, and related equipment using hand and power tools. • Operate and perform routine maintenance on trucks, digging and trenching equipment, and other construction machinery. • Load, unload, and transport equipment, chemicals, and supplies at worksites and storage areas. • Operate medium construction equipment under supervision of a qualified operator. • Apply safety and security policies to maintain a safe working environment. • Perform ground‑keeping and custodial tasks as assigned. • Resolve routine problems and alert management to issues beyond scope. • Read meters and update work order documentation in the system.

Applicants must hold a high school diploma or GED, possess a valid U.S. driver’s license and obtain a CDL within 90 days, and be able to work in varied physical conditions, including exposure to extreme temperatures and hazardous environments.
