About the Role

• Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and battery system failures on‑site. • Perform rework to ensure installations pass inspection and meet quality standards. • Represent Base with inspectors and authorities having jurisdiction, walking installs and resolving issues in real time. • Mentor and provide hands‑on training for new installation crews. • Participate in a scheduled on‑call rotation for urgent night/weekend electrical issues. • Communicate effectively with installers, inspectors, and homeowners.

What You Bring

Base is scaling the future of energy, and we’re looking for a Journeyman Electrician who thrives in the field. You will be on‑site daily—pulling wire, opening panels, troubleshooting real problems, and setting the standard through action. You are the technical backbone of our Houston, TX battery fleet, delivering hands‑on work while guiding others. • Maintain deep mastery of Base hardware, NEC codes, and general electrical principles. • Hold a valid Residential Wireman or Journeyman Electrician license. • Bring 4+ years of electrical experience, preferably with battery backups, EV chargers, or whole‑home generators. • Exhibit a “fix‑it‑right‑the‑first‑time” attitude and clearly explain technical concepts to crews and inspectors.
