About the Role
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; candidates must be able to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. A rebar production worker at Nucor Rebar Fabrication will bend, cut, bundle and load reinforcing steel bars in accordance with customers’ orders, and will work with a mentor who trains on safely using all machinery.

What You Bring
Candidates must be able to work in an outdoor environment. Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or other trades is a strong advantage and can lead to advancement within the organization. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future • Must be age 18 or over • Due to the operating conditions of the position, this is a safety-sensitive position, you must pass a drug test, including THC • Must be able to work overtime when required • Able to read and comprehend basic safety and operational instructions • Able to perform basic math for accurate bar measurements
