About the Role
The successful candidate will generate accurate and concise documentation for assigned aspects of projects and ensure responsibilities are delivered with quality that meets or exceeds industry standards for design, safety, and functionality. • Provide technical assistance for design, development, and construction of site investigation and remediation projects. • Conduct emergency spill response, waste sampling, material screening, and geophysical surveys. • Assist with research, investigation, concept development, and construction of site remediation, groundwater treatment, and site restoration. • Generate accurate documentation and annual reports for assigned project aspects. • Ensure project deliverables meet industry standards for design, safety, and functionality.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, or a related discipline, and have 0–1 year of experience, including relevant internships. Required skills include strong interpersonal communication, organizational, analytical, and technical writing abilities, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to pass a HAZWOPER physical and wear a tight‑fitting respirator. The role demands adherence to WSP’s health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies, excellent research skills, and the capacity to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic environment. Preferred qualifications include completed OSHA HAZWOPER 40‑hour training, practical use of modelling or visualization software, experience with databases, and knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations. • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, or related field. • 0–1 year of relevant experience or internship. • Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and technical writing skills. • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. • Ability to pass HAZWOPER physical and wear a tight‑fitting respirator. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. • Completed OSHA HAZWOPER 40‑hour training. • Experience with modelling or visualization software. • Database management experience. • Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations.
