About the Role

• Conduct final review and provide technical oversight of geotechnical reports, calculations, and deliverables. • Support project managers and staff with geotechnical problem‑solving and technical guidance. • Lead client meetings, offering consultative insight and ensuring quality standards. • Drive business development, maintain client network, and contribute to firm growth. • Mentor Associate Principals and support training programs. • Review and sign contracts and proposals within Signature Authority limits. • Serve on the review committee for Principal‑track candidates as needed. • Assist in department planning, staffing, and profitability initiatives. • Participate in company‑wide technical initiatives and inter‑departmental collaboration. • Maintain an established presence in the local geotechnical community.

What You Bring

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Geological Engineering or a related field. • Maintain an active Texas PE or PG license (or ability to obtain one). • possess at least 12 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience. • Achieve designation as Associate Principal or be eligible via Board of Directors exception. • Maintain a valid driver’s license for company travel. • Possess an in‑depth understanding of Texas geologic and geotechnical conditions. • Proficient in geotechnical software for slope stability and foundation analysis. • Experience managing departmental P&L, hiring, and operational oversight. • Demonstrated track record of client development and community engagement.
