About the Role
The Facilities Supervisor will support the smooth operation of a high‑security site, reporting to the Facilities Manager. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with WHS and quality systems, while working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to maintain a safe, efficient, and positive environment. • Maintain CMMS for preventative and reactive work orders. • Allocate and oversee tasks to meet contract KPIs. • Act as first point of contact for internal teams and stakeholders. • Support and guide maintenance staff and subcontractors, ensuring safety and compliance. • Conduct inspections and monitor operational performance. • Ensure WHS, quality, and environmental compliance. • Manage after‑hours on‑call coverage. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Bring
The Facilities Supervisor position is based in Cessnock, NSW, with BGIS serving a government‑aligned client. It is a full‑time, permanent, on‑site role offering excellent job security. The role requires a high school certificate or equivalent, with tertiary qualifications in building or facilities management preferred, and experience in property or facilities management, particularly in corrections, defence, or police settings. Desired credentials include an electrical or trade qualification, a Senior First Aid Certificate, and a current NSW driver licence. Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder‑engagement skills are essential.
