About the Role
• Support the implementation of People Plans by coordinating activities, tracking progress, and providing administrative assistance to enable delivery of business objectives. • Contribute to a positive and high-performance culture by coordinating engagement initiatives, maintaining accurate records, and supporting delivery of people programs. • Provide first-level support for ER queries by guiding employees to policies and escalating complex issues to the Business Partner. • Support change initiatives by preparing communications, tracking actions, and coordinating training or briefing sessions. • Provide administrative support for IR activities, such as preparing documentation and maintaining accurate records of meetings and agreements. • Assist with data collection and reporting to support workforce planning initiatives. • Liaise with People Services, Payroll, and other P&C functions to ensure timely resolution of queries.

Ventia is seeking a People & Culture Coordinator to support our Defence and Social Infrastructure team. Reporting to the P&C Business Partner, the role provides broad generalist support across areas such as contract mobilisation, performance and change management, workforce planning, employee engagement, learning and development, recruitment, and career and talent management. It is a permanent full‑time position based in the Cremorne, Victoria office and is well suited to an emerging P&C professional or recent graduate looking to build capability in a dynamic, supportive environment. • Hold a Certificate IV in business, HR or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Demonstrate a general understanding of Employment Law, HR Policy, Change Management and Talent Management. • Show ability to work to tight deadlines with strong planning and organization skills. • Exhibit excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
