About the Role
The Dispatcher oversees daily coordination and distribution of work to technicians, serving as the primary point of contact between dispatchers, service managers, and field staff. This role optimizes resource allocation, maintains customer satisfaction, and ensures adherence to service level agreements while supporting overall dispatch team operations. • Evaluate and prioritize service requests based on urgency, customer impact, SLA, and resources • Direct service calls to technicians, balancing skills, workload, location, and availability • Collaborate with Service Managers and dispatch team to resolve escalations and align resources • Ensure compliance with SLAs and proactively address potential delays • Serve as escalation point for complex or high‑priority service issues • Generate and review performance reports, identifying improvement opportunities • Conduct regular reviews of incomplete service calls to ensure timely follow‑up • Maintain and update on‑call schedules, verifying coverage for all service areas • Support scheduling and completion of preventative maintenance tasks • Develop knowledge of market geography, technician expertise, and resource availability • Mentor and train dispatch team members on best practices and policies

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma (or equivalent), with an associate’s degree or technical certification preferred, and 3‑5 years of experience in dispatch operations or a related technical service environment. Required skills include strong organization, multitasking, communication, problem‑solving, and proficiency with standard business tools such as email, Word and Excel, as well as flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends or on‑call shifts.
