About the Role

The Quality Inspector Manager will be responsible for leading the quality‑inspector team and ensuring that product examinations meet all quality standards, legislative requirements, codes and customer specifications. This second‑shift role (Monday‑Thursday, 2:30 pm‑1 am MST) requires meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to the organization’s quality‑assurance policies. Key duties include supporting and directing inspectors, tracking and remediating NCR reports, training, coaching, scheduling and performance‑managing staff, and overseeing inspections, reporting, documentation and troubleshooting. The manager will also conduct internal QA audits, maintain QA monitoring programs, provide data and reports to management, and drive continuous improvement using quality tools such as Lean and Six Sigma. • Lead and manage a team of quality inspectors and leads on the 2nd shift. • Ensure product inspections comply with quality standards, codes, and customer specifications. • Drive NCR follow‑up, corrective actions, and internal QA audits. • Train, coach, schedule, and performance‑manage inspection staff. • Oversee inspection reporting, documentation, and troubleshooting. • Support new product development and continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma tools. • Maintain compliance with local, national, and international regulations. • Provide accurate data and reports to management.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least five years of related experience, with management experience preferred, and a post‑secondary education related to quality management. They should be able to work independently in a busy environment, possess strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, handle pressure well, pay close attention to detail, and be computer literate. • 5+ years of related experience; management experience preferred. • Post‑secondary education in quality management or a related field. • Strong interpersonal, communication, and detail‑orientation skills. • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
