BIM Manager

About the Role

• Define and implement project digital workflows and CDE setup according to the BIM Execution Plan (BEP). • Identify and allocate resources (people, time, software, hardware) needed for BIM functions. • Configure the project in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) and establish model federation strategy and Master Information Delivery Plan (MIDP). • Develop the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) detailing platforms, tools, standards, and information exchange protocols. • Train project teams on BEP requirements and ACC workflows. • Provide daily support and troubleshoot design authoring applications and information management platforms. • Manage ACC project settings, including members, permissions, coordination spaces, views, issues, reviews, and workflows. • Ensure deliverables comply with the BEP by federating discipline models and coordinating design work. • Conduct clash analysis, raise issues in ACC, and track issue resolution. • Produce weekly reports on model status, clash counts, and issue priorities per discipline. • Participate in design and model coordination meetings with internal teams and clients. • Verify and approve the quality of Revit, Navisworks, and other models against naming standards, content segregation, spatial coordination, and parameter validation. • Document lessons learned and best practices for submission to the BIM & Information Management Lead.

What You Bring

GHD is hiring an experienced BIM Manager for its UAE office. The manager will lead Information Management and Building Information Modeling functions across multiple projects, ensuring the effective implementation of a Common Data Environment (CDE) and BIM standards. The role demands strong digital‑solution expertise, project planning capability, and design‑coordination skills. • Hold a university degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Building Services, or a related construction field. • Possess at least 5 years of BIM Manager experience on multidisciplinary UAE projects, with proven hands‑on use of Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, ACC, and model‑checking or workflow‑automation tools. • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication and mentor teams in BIM methodology, preparing training materials and workflow documentation.
