About the Role
In this position you will represent the firm in interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members, while designing large‑scale projects, preparing reports and specifications, and providing high‑level technical leadership. • Assist senior engineer/designer with project scheduling, manpower planning, and budgeting. • Process RFIs, change orders, bulletins, and addenda. • Establish system design and operational parameters under guidance. • Develop basic designs, specifications, narratives, and layouts for various project sizes. • Lead QA/QC processes for own and team work. • Conduct construction administration, field investigations, and detailed inspection reports. • Interface with internal design team and external stakeholders including owners, contractors, architects, and vendors. • Participate in trade organization activities and prepare presentations. • Manage CAD/BIM resources and supervise technical staff as assigned. • Support employee performance reviews. • Estimate construction costs and assess feasibility using ROM calculations. • Draft engineering proposals under senior guidance. • Coordinate mechanical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, and telecom disciplines and evaluate constructability and cost.

What You Bring
Successful candidates should hold a current EIT and/or PE registration, a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and 3.5–7+ years of consulting experience. LEED AP accreditation is highly preferred, and strong coordination skills across architectural, structural, electrical, and telecom disciplines, as well as proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, are required. • Hold current EIT and/or PE registration in Mechanical Engineering. • Earn a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution. • Possess 3.5–7+ years of consulting engineering experience. • LEED AP accreditation is highly preferred. • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
