About the Role

The Commercial Sales Executive promotes and sells Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory, acting as the brand steward for the Johnson Controls Security story. This role secures profitable sales and upgrades for new, existing, and discontinued commercial customers while driving customer satisfaction and retention. Key activities include creating new market share, selling additional products and services to existing accounts, renewing agreements, and identifying prospects using creative lead‑generation techniques. You will develop call plans, manage time and territory efficiently, maintain deep product knowledge, and conduct post‑installation follow‑up to ensure client satisfaction. • Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services as brand steward • Acquire new commercial customers and expand market share • Renew and amend customer agreements • Identify prospects using creative lead‑generation techniques • Develop and execute call plans and follow‑up strategies • Maintain deep product knowledge through training and research • Obtain referrals and work with Centers of Influence • Process work orders and complete required paperwork • Conduct post‑installation follow‑up to confirm customer satisfaction
