About the Role
• Perform routine engineering tasks under supervision on roadway, multimodal, highway, and bridge design projects, with potential inspection exposure. • Use computer‑assisted engineering software and equipment to complete engineering tasks. • Collect and prepare data for evaluation. • Assist in coordinating projects from feasibility through final plan preparation. • Provide support to engineering staff (drafting, computations, review, field work). • Effectively interface with all personnel levels and management. • Work on meaningful projects that strengthen communities, infrastructure, and public spaces.

What You Bring
We are seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for our Pittsburgh or Harrisburg, PA offices. The internship provides college students real‑world experience, allowing them to work alongside world‑class professionals in a fast‑paced setting and apply classroom knowledge to business projects. • Enrolled in an accredited civil engineering program focusing on transportation, traffic, or structural bridge design. • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Bentley ORD preferred. • Demonstrate strong analytical, conceptual, communication, and organizational skills. • Collaborate well in team settings and apply strong problem‑solving abilities. • Self‑motivated and able to work productively without supervision. • Exhibit excellent written and oral communication skills.
