About the Role

Apprentices are tasked with servicing pneumatic control systems and mechanical equipment in accordance with the labor agreement. They troubleshoot and resolve problems, respond to basic warranty calls, and keep Johnson Controls, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and issues. • Service pneumatic control systems and mechanical equipment per labor agreement. • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve HVAC issues on site. • Respond to basic warranty service calls. • Communicate job status and issues to Johnson Controls, contractors, and customers. • Perform general building maintenance tasks. • Participate in on‑the‑job training and the Service Technical Academy program.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or equivalent and be familiar with HVAC equipment; an EPA Refrigeration certification is a plus. The role requires the ability to perform general building maintenance, a valid driver’s license, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a self‑starting attitude for independent work. • Maintain HVAC knowledge; pursue EPA Refrigeration certification if possible. • Work independently with a valid driver’s license and strong communication skills.
