About the Role

Join the Arcus cleaning team and help keep Sainsbury’s stores sparkling for customers. We value a customer‑focused mindset and teamwork to achieve high standards of cleanliness. Cleaners are responsible for daily cleaning tasks that maintain the highest standard of hygiene across the store. Duties include operating machinery, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, and cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, oven canopies, as well as outdoor trolley bays. All health and safety procedures must be followed, and full training is provided. • Operate cleaning machinery. • Mop, vacuum, sweep, and wipe floors and surfaces. • Clean toilets, ceilings, windows, and oven canopies. • Maintain outdoor trolley bays free of leaves and debris. • Follow all health and safety procedures. • Provide an NFC‑enabled smartphone for Arcus Connect app.

What You Bring

Benefits

We are hiring a part‑time In‑Store Cleaner for Sainsbury’s Bath Odd Down, on a fixed‑term contract until February 2026. The role offers 18 hours per week at £12.21 per hour and is available for an immediate start. Shift patterns are flexible, with five‑day and six‑day options. The current schedule is Monday to Saturday from 15:00 to 18:00, with Sundays off, and overtime may be available.
