About the Role
In this role, you’ll take on meaningful field and technical work across aggregates, waste management, hydrogeology, and compliance programs, with opportunities to stretch into other areas of Earth & Environment as your career grows. You will be responsible for both independent field assignments and collaborative team efforts. You’ll support landfill and aggregate site compliance monitoring programs, conduct fieldwork, collect and manage environmental data, and communicate with clients, labs, government partners, and service providers to keep projects running smoothly. Additionally, you will assist in producing technical reports that analyze chemical, hydrogeological, and geotechnical data while championing safe work practices. • Support landfill and aggregate site compliance monitoring, including fieldwork and reporting. • Conduct independent field assignments and coordinate with technicians, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams. • Collect, document, and manage environmental field data according to WSP standards and industry protocols. • Communicate with clients, laboratories, government partners, and service providers to ensure smooth project execution. • Assist in producing technical reports that analyze chemical, hydrogeological, and geotechnical data. • Champion safe work practices and implement corporate and client safety programs.

What You Bring
We are looking for candidates with 3–5 years of environmental consulting experience, including fieldwork, and a degree in environmental, geological, civil engineering, geoscience, or a related discipline. Eligibility for P.Eng. or P.Geo., a valid Class 5 driver’s license, and the ability to read engineering drawings and regulatory documents are required. Strong communication, reporting, problem‑solving skills, and willingness to perform outdoor fieldwork are essential. • 3–5 years of environmental consulting experience with fieldwork responsibilities. • Degree in environmental, geological, civil engineering, geoscience, or a related discipline. • Eligibility for P.Eng. or P.Geo. professional registration. • Experience with Ontario environmental regulations (preferred). • Strong communication, reporting, and on‑the‑fly problem‑solving abilities. • Valid Class 5 driver’s license and personal vehicle for site work. • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory documents.
