About the Role

As a Product Manager you will lead discovery, prioritization, and definition of customer requirements for road, highway, and land‑development workflows. You will engage directly with transportation agencies and consulting firms worldwide, monitor competitive solutions, and ensure Autodesk’s product direction reflects real‑world needs. The position is hybrid, reports to the Sr. Group Product Manager, and involves regular collaboration with multiple product groups. • Gather, analyze, and prioritize road/highway and land development solution requirements for product planning. • Collaborate with Product Managers across Civil 3D, InfraWorks, Forma, Revit, AutoCAD, partner applications, and with Industry Strategy, Marketing, Sales, and Autodesk leadership. • Provide clear requirements, context, customer insight, and timely feedback to the new development teams in India throughout development cycles. • Support Autodesk’s engagement with transportation agencies and consulting firms through site visits, workflow assessments, and user group participation. • Develop competitive assessments to inform product and business planning activities. • Contribute to solution planning for road, highway, and land development workflows in line with Autodesk’s strategic goals. • Ensure critical customer requirements are understood by product teams, PO’s, and scrum teams and translated into compelling workflows. • Connect engineering teams with customers for UX research, workflow validation, and sprint reviews. • Travel to customer sites, industry events, and Autodesk offices globally; participate in occasional off‑hour meetings with global teams.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of product management experience. • 5+ years of professional experience in road, highway, or land development design and production. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. • Production‑level experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and Autodesk InfraWorks. • Familiarity with Scrum/Agile methodologies. • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to frame problems from complex data. • Confident presenter communicating clearly to peers, stakeholders, and leadership. • Experience with competitive civil/transportation design tools such as OpenRoads, 12d, Civil Designer, InRoads. • Direct experience working with transportation agencies or large civil engineering consultancies. • Track record translating complex engineering workflows into clear product requirements. • Experience supporting distributed engineering teams across India, China, Europe, or North America. • Ability to analyze customer usage data, telemetry, or workflow patterns for product decisions. • Participation in beta programs, UX research, or structured customer feedback cycles. • Familiarity with AECO standards like IFC 4.3 or ISO 19650. • Strong ability to present to customers, industry groups, and internal leadership in technical or product contexts.
