About the Role

The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck and provides prompt, courteous waste removal services. The role includes ensuring the vehicle meets the company's safety standards before operation, adhering to all company, state and federal regulations, and completing daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key duties include performing comprehensive pre‑ and post‑operation inspections to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls. The driver follows a designated route, loads refuse using manual or automatic controls, operates the compactor, and disposes of material at the designated facility while interacting courteously with customers and dispatchers. Additional responsibilities involve tagging unsatisfactory containers, cleaning accidental spills, maintaining vehicle readiness, completing required reports and productivity sheets, adhering to safety policies, and participating in the ReSOP program.

What You Bring

The position requires a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement and solid time‑management and customer‑service skills. Work hours are Monday‑Friday with start times between 4:00 a.m. and 5:30 a.m., covering mixed routes that combine small container and residential pickups. Employees are paid weekly, every Friday.
