About the Role

The role involves a broad range of complex technical and administrative activities focused on contract compliance, quality control, and quality assurance for electrical scope of projects. The incumbent will work closely with project engineers, senior discipline engineers, and the inspection team to ensure construction activities adhere to codes, standards, and contract documents. • Perform complex technical and administrative tasks related to contract compliance, QC, and QA inspection of electrical scope. • Analyze applicable codes, standards, and contract documents and monitor construction for compliance. • Interpret and clarify contract documents for contractors. • Maintain and prepare records such as progress reports, material accounting, change orders, and record drawings. • Assist the Project Engineer and Site Engineer with technical support. • Supervise, direct, and coordinate the inspection team. • Conduct weekly meetings with inspectors and the Project Engineer to review progress and issues. • Ensure inspection responses are complete and compliant; collaborate with the Project Engineer to resolve problems. • Audit inspections for conformity to contract documents and contractor‑submitted plans. • Support the Senior Discipline Engineer in identifying and addressing technical issues to maintain schedule. • Issue non‑conformance reports (NCRs) to highlight violations of construction or engineering requirements. • Participate in progress review and coordination meetings to resolve drawing discrepancies and site issues. • Coordinate snagging activities and facilitate project handover. • Provide daily site reports, raise site issues, and contribute to preparation of various project reports. • Monitor health and safety of construction work, reporting hazards and stopping work when unsafe practices are observed.
